Of course the past year or so has been a difficult time for everybody. From the board and the rest of the Saltaire Festival team we hope you’re all safe and well. All residents and visitors to Saltaire make the village the special place that it is and we can’t wait to see you all again. As restrictions start to lift, we’re now able to plan ahead for our events for later this year.
We’ve received a lot of recent requests for a bit of an update. Well the good news is that the team are busy planning for this September. The Festival dates will be 10 to 19 September and we’ll be announcing our plans as soon as we can. Things won’t be exactly the same as in past years and we will need to be nimble if regulations and guidance change during our planning phase. Nevertheless, there will be a good range of arts activities for you to experience and enjoy.
We are also excited to be part of the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the designation of Saltaire as a World Heritage site, which ties in with the Festival’s aim of celebrating the heritage of Saltaire.
We are looking for additional volunteers to support our planning and will be releasing details soon of the roles that we would like to fill and how to apply. In the meantime if you want to get involved, then please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
Here’s to a great summer of 2021.
