As part of our great finale weekend of music, individuals and bands will be performing on the bandstand in Roberts Park.

Hear a range of musicians and discover some of our local emerging talent.

Performers will be timed between acts on the main stage so you can take a stroll across the park and catch all of the music on offer.

Saturday 21st

12.45 – 1.15pm: Vince Cayo

Vince Cayo is a solo cayote rock’n’roll act out of Bradford, West Yorkshire (UK).

Influenced by a wide range of genres from mexican traditional music to hardcore punk, although the main influences will have to be Social Distortion, Billy Bragg, The Pogues, Dropkick Murphys, Street Dogs, Steve Earle, Tim Barry, Dave Van Ronk, Bob Dylan, and Flogging Molly.

Vince has been writing, gigging, and touring as a solo act for about 5 years now with the opportunities to take this music to many countries such as Ireland, Belgium, Greece, France, the Netherlands, and the USA.

2.00 – 2.30 pm: Tshok

We’re a brand new band based in Leeds, creating womping North African, Balkan and drum n’ bass-inspired sounds for the 21st century!

3.15 – 3.45 pm: Raven Kits

Female fronted band Raven Kits was formed in 2018 by Lynsey Cawthra (vocals, guitar, keys) and Laura Kitson (vocals, keys, flute/sax), two full time musicians that met through working at the Music & Arts Service. After doing a few gigs together their stage rapport was so coincident that they combined their musical influences to create a sound that draws on their real life stories.

Based in Bradford/Leeds, West Yorkshire, they are currently working on their first EP, expect to listen to experimental sounds with flourishing harmonies.

4.30 – 5.00 pm: May Contain Notes – was Voicemail Harmony

Bradford-based 4 piece acoustic and a capella group sing harmonious musical messages for the world. A blend of styles. Evocative, provocative, reflective.

5.45 – 6.15 pm: No-Hands DJ Dipak

Dipak is a DJ and member of the well known Bradford based No Hands collective, and will be playing a short set to finish the day off.

Sunday 22nd

12.45 – 1.15 pm: Caleb Murray and the Bandits

A young Acoustic Folk-Rock singer songwriter, Caleb has been working away for a few years now, with recent slots at the North Parade street Party and Coventry Godiva Festival. He has recently joined George Morton and Ben Painter to form Caleb Murray and the Bandits.

2.00 – 2.30 pm: Johnny B AKA Dead Freedom

Johnny B, or Dead Freedom is a singer songwriter known for his gruff vocals and solo acoustic guitar work.

Johnny has tested the water with the television show Britain’s Got Talent but decided to carry on gigging/touring despite numerous attempts from Britain’s Got Talent, X factor and The Voice to have Johnny as a contestant on their shows. Gigging around the UK and hoping to expand his reach to the the rest of Europe and the US, Johnny hopes more than anything to teach his daughter that she can do whatever she sets her mind to.

3.15 – 3.45 pm: Poison & Wine (pictured)

A new band, Poson & Wine are an acoustic harmony band, celebrating modern and classic Americana in all its forms.

Featuring Lisa Mallaghan (Vocals/Percussion), Richard Babington (Guitar), and Dan McGlade (Vocals/Guitar).

4.30 – 5.00 pm: Ecky Thump Drummers

Theatrical drumming group, also featuring numerous drums, Trumpet, and gang vocals all providing backing to narrative tales.
