Travel Information

Please remember the village is a historic World Heritage Site, therefore built before everyone had a car. We are urging everyone to leave the car at home where possible and travel by foot, bike, bus or train.

We have limited parking for those who have no option but to arrive by car. This year this is at Salts Mill car park (BD18 3HU), InCommunities Car Park (BD17 7BN) or Baildon Recreation Centre (BD17 5JH). No visitor parking is advised in the village itself.

There are also very limit spaces in the circular parking area at Titus Salt school but parking in the gated school car park is strictly prohibited.

For blue badge users please approach traffic stewards at the triangle by Roberts Park or on Victoria Rd and they will assist with your search for a suitable disabled parking space.

Road Closures on 17th, 18th & 19th September

On behalf of the festival, Bradford Council are implementing a number of road closures and parking suspensions to ensure the safety and wellbeing of residents, local businesses and attendees.

There will be road closure on a short section of Albert Terrace at its junction with Victoria Road on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th September.

Caroline Street, either side of Victoria Road, will be for residents access only, but no residents parking will be affected, on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th September.

Parking on the Triangle (by Roberts Park) will also be suspended so that the area can be managed for disabled parking.

Enterprise Car Club vehicles have been temporarily re-located for the weekend.

There will be advance warning signs regarding road closures and residents’ access arrangements.
There will be a significant stewarding presence, and discretion will be exercised.

Please use extreme care if accessing Riverside Court or sports club facilities.
