Thank you to everyone who attended Saltaire Festival 2021, returning for the first time since the pandemic. We had such a great time seeing families and friends enjoying themselves and experience everything our historic village has to offer.
Our team of volunteers are taking a well-earned break before planning for 2022 starts.
This is where we NEED YOU!
After organising a scaled-down festival, in unprecedented times and with constantly changing guidance we want to properly consult our stakeholders as to what everyone wants to see next year.
It would be really helpful if you could complete our event survey to help shape our programme of events for 2022.
Your Donations Support The Festival
If you enjoyed your time at the festival this week and didn’t get chance to give us a donation you can donate online through Givey below.
The community festival is a volunteer-run charity that relies on donations to facilitate the diverse event programme we all know and love.
Please consider ticking the Gift Aid box, as this will increase your donation by 25% at no extra cost to yourself.
Children’s Fancy Dress Winner
The winner of our Children’s Fancy Dress competition in Roberts Park this weekend was Eva, age 5.
She was dressed up as a unicorn princess and is now the proud owner of a £30 Salts Mill voucher.
Yard & Garden Trail Winners
Congratulations to Pam Beck of Dallam Avenue for winning the 2021 open garden trail. Well done runner up Jo McMullan of Mary Street for being our first reserve.
All the gardens on the trail looked fabulous this year and we are so thankful to those residents who have opened them up to us all.
A big THANK YOU to RBS Architects for their continued support of the trail. To read more about the great work they do click here.
Volunteers & Your Support
Each year the Festival is brought to you by a dedicated team of volunteers without whom the event would not happen. We are keen to attract even more volunteers to help with events and tasks throughout the year.
We are also really in need of more support in events management and operational planning roles to help re-shape and up-scale the festival back up to a bigger programme of events.
If you would like to get involved in any way at all & be invited along to our volunteer get-togethers, please email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org
